The trouble with new year's resolutions - and how to set goals that stick

Your Result

You are framing your goals negatively (mostly Bs)

Developing new goals should be all about positive change. Rather than setting goals like: ‘I won’t eat takeaways or junk food’, say: ‘I will eat more fresh vegetables with each main meal’ or ‘I will cook dinners from scratch mid-week’. Negative framing can make a goal harder to achieve because it causes you to think about the exact thing you are trying to avoid.
