‘Invest a few minutes every day to sit in stillness with yourself and notice your thoughts rather than buying into them as if they were real,' says Dr Barbara Mariposa. 'Mindfulness is not about manipulating your thinking to make thoughts “positive”, it’s about learning to witness your thoughts and feelings, whatever they are, and letting them pass, rather than get dragged along by them.'
