As Editor-in-Chief of Psychologies I’ve always taken my own self-development very seriously. When people ask what works, I always talk about how meditation has transformed how I live my life. Not only has it transformed how I feel about myself, but it also helps me deal with challenges, and helps me be a little more conscious on a daily basis so I can make better decisions to live a life aligned with my values.
Don’t take my word for it. There is a huge amount of research that shows that meditation will do everything from making you healthier in mind and body, making you look and feel younger and help you live a fulfilled life.
The good news is that meditation is a skill we can all learn.
I was delighted to interview my meditation teacher Nick Scaramanga about how to meditate and how to make it a regular part of your day.
These will be run on Zoom from 7am to 7.40am, Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. After 5 minutes to settle in, you can start a 25-minute meditation at 7.05.
