Macadamia nut oil hummus

Chickpeas are naturally high in fibre, iron phosphate, calcium, magnesium and vitamin K, making them great for digestion and weight management. Combined with the buttery taste of This Is Good Macadamia Nut Oil and aromatic herbs and spices, hummus is not only good for you but tastes delicious, too


Macadamia nut oil hummus

Serves six to eight people as a starter


Two 400g cans of chickpeas (reserve the liquid and a few chickpeas for decoration)

Four tsp of tahini

Two garlic cloves, crushed

One tsp crushed sea salt

Six tbsp of macadamia nut oil (plus extra for drizzling)

Three and a half tbsp of freshly squeezed lemon juice

Paprika (optional)

Coriander or parsley leaves (optional)


So simple, yet so effective: simply pop everything into a blender and blitz!

Once smooth and nicely whipped, plate up and drizzle with This Is Good paprika infused macadamia nut oil and sprinkle with macadamia nuts, coriander and a couple of whole chickpeas.
