An ambitious new dance production celebrates South African democracy and it's touring the UK from now till October
To celebrate 20 years of democracy in South Africa, dance company INALA (meaning ‘abundance of goodwill’ in Zulu), presents ‘Zulu ballet’ this summer.
Influenced by South African stories and performed to the musical backdrop of Ladysmith Black Mambazo, a fusion of classical ballet, Western contemporary dance and Zulu dance, choreographed by the award-winning Mark Baldwin, creates this cultural melting pot of song and movement.
